                                                Dier    Mother                 I seete my self to wright you afiew lines to let you know that we are well at present hopeing that these lines I will come safe to hand and find you all well. I have not recieved anny letters since I have been here I am ancious to get letter from home I want to know how you are all getting along what Jasper and John is doing and aul about every boddy and every thing  we get some news from the state which stats things to bee verry unsettled
worke here as the saying is is played out for this winter we sold our clame in October then Thom Parrish, gustus and myself went up to the summit and commenced hauling and was getting along verry well untill it commeced snowing we then quit that and went to worke by the dy in a clame in adams thinking we would get studdy imployment dureing the winter we worked up till about the first of December the boyes is now gon to the ranch after our Cattle about eighteen miles from here I am staying with Mr mcCutchin we calculate to go to some of the vallies

I would bee glad to recieve aletter or two every weake tell John and Mandy to wright every thing is high here flower is worth twenty five dollars per hundred baken about fifty cents a pound Sugar and Coffy from sixety to seventy cents per pound and every thing ulce in in perportion    it is very cold here and at the sumit whare we have been at work the snow is from one to twenty feete deepe
