Arates Seminary
About 12 new letters have been posted in the past couple of days. Some of them are not dated. Some of them are not signed with a name, or with a first name only. It may be possible to identify the writers, but as the goal right now is simply to get as much posted to the web site as possible, that will be left for another day.
We have some challenges. We’re looking for information on the Arates Seminary. It seems that Pettis County girls went there to study - but what? and where was it? It seemed to be well enough known in its day.
There will be about 20 more letters posted over the next few days before we turn our attention to photographs.
